Prisma Biotech was founded in 1995 in Taipei, Taiwan. Aim to be a leading distributor in the Asian-Pacific region to provide high quality products and services as well as to deliver professional support to customers in the clinical genomics, in-vitro diagnostics, and life science markets.

30 YEARS of business adventures
2021
Prisma won the “Elite Channel Partner”of 2021. Our major contribution of the sales is from the clinical NGS labs.
2018
Expanding distribution agreement with illumina to include full product lines of Oncology, WES/WGS, Reproductive Health, Metagenomics.
2015
We helped illumina to sign NIPT technical transfer agreement with Sofiva Genomics which is the first NIPT TT partner of illumina in Asia.
2012
BlueGnome was acquired by Illumina.
Prisma became one of distributors of Illumina
2010
Representing BlueGnome and to launch array-based PGS embryo aneuploidy test. To help establishing in-house labs at several IVF centers
2006
Representing Combimatrix and working with Dr. Su’s Lab in NTUH to establish the first ArrayCGH Cytogenetic Prenatal testing lab in Taiwan
1997
Installed the first Microarray spotter and Host the first DNA Microarray Conference in Taiwan with over 200 attendees
