AD1520 Aspirate/Dispense Platform
The AD1520 is a tabletop workstation designed for high speed aspirating and dispensing applications to glass slides, microtiter plates or membranes. It has a compact footprint and can be configured with up to four dispensers, making it ideal for a research laboratory to investigate new applications.
Chemical and biological reagents can be dispensed using the proprietary BioJet Elite technology. This technology couples the XYZ motion control system with the high precision displacement capabilities of a syringe pump and the high-speed actuation of a micro-solenoid valve. The three components synchronized together result in precise, non-contact liquid handling system.

AD3220 Aspirate/Dispense Platform
The AD3220 is a tabletop workstation designed for high speed aspirating and dispensing applications to glass slides, microtiter plates, membranes or any custom surface.
This uniquely sized platform fits on a laboratory bench for development applications and provides enough dispense area for pilot scale production. Up to 8 dispensers can be integrated on the system and 4 nest options are available.
The AD6020 overhead gantry dispensing system offers the same superior positional accuracy and speed with a larger dispensing area than the AD3420.
This workstation is designed for high speed aspirating and dispensing applications to glass slides, microtiter plates, membranes or any custom surface.
Up to 16 dispensers can be integrated on the system with a dispense area of 60 cm x 60 cm.

ZX1010 Dispense Platform

The ZX1010 is a flexible dispensing system with a programmable X-axis, manually adjusted Y-axis positioning and a pneumatic Z-axis. Dispensed volumes are independently programmed via the terminal.
The ZX1010 is designed for simultaneous or sequential dispensing of lines and dots.
The ZX1010 platform can be configured with a maximum of 8 dispensers (max 4 AirJets). Choose from uAirJet, AirJet HR, BioJet HR, FrontLine HR, or PolyDrop dispensers. You choose the the type and number of dispensers to meet your application needs.
XYZ3060 Dispense Platform
The XYZ3060 system is a powerful production tool for rapid test development and manufacturing.
The XYZ3060 is a flexible XYZ motion/dispense system, with a motorized Z-axis and fully programmable motion and dispense parameters. The XYZ3060 is designed for simultaneous dispensing or individually dispensing lines and dots.
Using the 3060 platform, a maximum of 4 µAirJet/AirJet HR, 8 BioJet HR, 8 FrontLine HR, or 8 PolyDrop dispensers can be configured. You choose the the type and number of dispensers on your system to meet your application needs.

XYZ3210 Dispense Platform

The XYZ series systems are powerful production tools for rapid test development and manufacturing with a larger working deck than the smaller XYZ3060 platform.
The XYZ3210 is a flexible XYZ motion/dispense system, with a motorized Z-axis and fully programmable motion and dispense parameters. The XYZ3210 is designed for simultaneous dispensing or individually dispensing lines and dots.
Using this platform, a maximum of 4 AirJet HR, 8 BioJet HR, 8 FrontLine HR, or 8 PolyDrop dispensers can be configured. You choose the type and number of dispensers on your system to meet your application needs.
The CM5000 Guillotine Cutter is a robust and fully automatic system that provides high quality precision cuts. Hardened and coated steel blades improve ejection of cut strips and reduce glue build up.
Cut widths and quantities are easily programmed through a handheld terminal. Programs may be stored for system reference in development or manufacturing environments.

LM5000 Clamshell Laminator
The LM5000 Clamshell is used in the batch assembly of lateral flow tests.
A lateral flow tests is comprised of multiple materials materials that are laminated onto a plastic backing with an adhesive. The LM5000 Clamshell laminator utilizes top and bottom vacuum nests to hold strip materials in place and is operated manually.
The Reel to Reel system is a series of modular components configured to support your web dispensing/coating application. The system is typically used with rollstock material and runs continuously. For continuous dispensing BioDot’s proprietary tandem pump system deliver reagents so that the web does not have to stop moving when the pump refills

RR120 Handling Platform

LM9000 Continuous Laminator
The LM9000 Continuous Laminating System provides continuous lamination of materials onto a plastic support backing with adhesive. Typical applications would be lamination of rapid diagnostic test strips or urine dip sticks.

Sample pads
We offer a wide range of fiber-based material to provide wide compatibility with all different matrixes used in rapid test kits. Our sample pads ensure consistent absorbency and good wicking rates to reach a uniform distribution of the analyte onto the conjugate pad.
They are designed to offer diverse media porosities, capable of separating matrices which may contain particles

Sample application pads

KEY FEATURES
-
Quick absorption of liquid andviscous samples
-
Consistent flow
-
Broad range of fiber typesavailable to find the rightcomposition with less interactionwith the analytes
-
Available in differentthicknesses to accept differentvolume of sample
-
Mechanical properties suitablefor running on reel-to-reelequipment
-
Ability to filter particles out
Plasma separation pads
Ahlstrom plasma separation grades are single layer fiber-based sample pads consisting of
high purity natural, synthetic and glass fibers.
These sample pads have specific porosities to enable to separate plasma and serum from whole blood. The separation is mainly observed laterally.
The different pore size distributions available in our range of plasma separation materials means that different volumes of whole blood can be processed without red cells coming
into contact with the membrane.
The materials are slightly asymmetric and the blood should consistently be deposited on
the preferred side to speed up absorption and reduce the risk of hemoglobin release.
KEY FEATURES
-
Provides consistent and rapid lateral separation of whole blood
-
Available in different thicknesses to accommodate range of whole blood sample volumes and test cartridge dimensions
-
Customized sheet, roll and specialty die cut sizes

Conjugate pads
As a key component of a lateral flow assay, the conjugate release pad must perform
reliably and consistently. Our conjugate pads have been developed for reproducible
acceptance of the conjugate, its good stabilization overtime plus even and high level of conjugate release.
Their good uniformity leads to a reduced coefficient of variability and high-performance
consistency between the assays.
All our conjugate pads can be chemically pre-treated and customized in terms of
format and dimensions (sheets, strips, reels), as well as packaging to better meet our
customers’ requirements.
They offer a high mechanical stability for use on reel-to-reel equipment.
Conjugate release pads

KEY FEATURES
-
Porous material to enable good resuspension and avoid retention of tagged-ab
-
Very good homogeneity for even immobilization of tagged–ab and consistent release of it
-
Broad range of fiber nature and manufacturing process for finding the ideal combination of fiber material and conjugate
-
Various capillary flow properties enable different velocities of conjugate release
-
Sustainable material option
-
High mechanical properties usable on reel-to-reel equipment for pretreatment step or direct LFIA construction
Absorbent pads
Our absorbent pads are chosen for their exceptional hygroscopic properties.
The material allows rapid and effective absorption of liquids (sample + buffer) in the
assays, to promote quick clearing of the membrane.
Selection factor: Absorption Capacity.
Avoid presence of liquid in reading zone so results can be observed accurately.
Selection factor: Cassette Design.
Both thickness and absorption capacity are critical to prevent backflow and promote readability.
Selection factor: Flow Velocity.
Consider the kinetic of absorption during the final optimization of the test for more even liquid flow through the assay.
